Come and gone

Well, we closed Peter and the Starcatcher. The show was a hit with audiences, beautiful to watch, poinient and funny.

Our pulled-from-everywhere set turned out quite stunning and just as quickly as it started, it was done.

     My crew had the set down in less than eight hours.

Bit by bit

Till all we had left was rigging.

And even that was wrapped up by three o'clock. 

     I love this script, and the book. I'm a huge Peter Pan Fan in general, but this will be my best memory from this show.

My last on stage moment with my talented son, Ben. He has been part of every show I have done, in some way, for almost 18 years. Most parents don't get such a wonderful opportunity, most don't realize what a blessing and a gift that kind of closeness can be. I hope he values it as much as I do, even if it takes him another 17 to appreciate it.
